Three-point lighting

MVI 1260 from Doriana haxhija on Vimeo.

in this clip we show the three-point lighting in action and how it works on an object this time being amelia, the first light we used was the key light which acts like natural lighting and so leaves a shadow on one side of the subjects face to take away the shadow a fill light is used to balance out the key light this usually placed on a lower angle on the opposite side from the key light it is shown in the image if a fill light is unavailable you are also able to use a reflector to reflect the light of the key light onto the other side of the subject that is in shadow and the third light is the back light which makes the subject look much more 3d and stand out
