planning working towards choosing your idea

The Target audience I would like to address in my radio interview is young people who are up to date with today’s technology, I will look into interviewing more than one person in different positions so that my show is not bias and contains different opinions for example people in long term relationships, people not in relationships although have an opinion on the matter and have a linked experience.

Identify the range of resources and materials available to you. To create this interview I will select a range of people I know to interview about the subject and choose the interviews in which the person has the strongest opinion and is clearest about what they think and include these in my show. Planning the questions I will be asking and in what order is key to having an organized interview that reaches the goal I have set to find out a key piece of information. Focusing on what kind of tone you would like your interview to be in is also important as you can then word your questions in a way that fits this, so that it is clearly translated to the interviewee and audience.

When it comes to interviewing research is key, making sure that you are aware of the subject and recent advances in it as well as have a good knowledge of the audience and people you are questioning this will mean you can go off script and have an actual discussion about the subject that isn’t planned this will mean you are able to pull more personal information from the interviewee as they become more comfortable with you.The order you chose to ask questions also effects the way the interview is carried out for example if you want the interviewee to feel comfortable and want a light hearted interview starting off with a easy question and then gradually getting to more important and difficult to answer questions will ease the interviewee in and make them feel comfortable in telling you more personal information although if you are going for a interview tone which is tough starting with a difficult question will let them know what the interview will be like and will set the atmosphere for the rest of the questions letting them know that the interview will be serious and you intend on getting answers.
